Step into Blue Souq and browse the numerous quaint stores selling local handicrafts, handmade jewellery, incense, palm-leaf baskets and shawls. Continue to Al Hisn Fort, built in 1823 formerly the residence of the Qawasim ruling family as well as the government headquarters.
Visit the fascinating Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization, located in a building originally constructed as a souq, which displays more than 5,000 artefacts from the Islamic world.
Conclude the tour with a short stop at Souq Al Jubail, a newly opened state of the art market place inspired by the impressive heritage of Islamic architecture. Return to your hotel. “
